Sr Reservoir Engineer

Currently seeking Sr Reservoir Engineer on behalf of our client. The foremost Oil and Gas company /KKKS/PSC in Indonesia focused on LNG, Power Plant and another energy sectors in Indonesia and to meet the increasing energy requirements through Asian.


Requirements:
•15 years post graduate experience in Upstream Oil and Gas (exploration & production), ideally including experience with an Operator (re operated and non-operated projects)
• Managing / optimising fields under gas supply contracts, with reservoir management in mature, complex (multiple reservoir / fault block) fields, and a track record of supervising / QC of multi-discipline field evaluation projects
• Proven ability to coach and develop other staff, including Nationals. South East Asia experience highly regarded
• Classical reservoir engineering skills, with substantial experience of dynamic modelling, history matching and sensitivity analysis
• Track record of proactively proposing / implementing successful reservoir management recommendations, and of successfully recommending/implementing /interpreting the results of well surveillance and intervention work
• Previously influencing of field development planning, and of performing economic analysis (e.g. construction of economic models, using results to support investment proposals)
• Experienced in new business analysis / data rooms, holding the ability to see the “bigger picture”
• Gas field development plan optimisation (sandstone & carbonates) and development plan (POD) preparation and submission
• Reserves and resources assessments and reconciliation (i.e. decline curve analysis, material balance, & volumetric methods)

Knowledge :
• Familiar with reservoir surveillance and interventions
• Fluent with network modelling and production forecasting (MBAL, Prosper, GAP), and extensive reservoir simulation experience, including history matching and development optimisation (ideally using Petrel-RE / Eclipse)
Fluency in Eclipse, Petroleum Experts and risk management software
• Strong working knowledge of fluid properties modelling and PVT – dry gas, retrograde condensate, black oil
• Familiarity with a “gated” Project Development Process;
• Currency with latest industry innovations
